The Myre is a region in the North, located to the north of the Rills and south of the Gift. It is a mostly mountainous area, with a secluded forest valley located at the centre of the region. The castle of Darkmyre lies within the valley and is the largest settlement in the area. The valley's mountains rise so high that sunlight barely reaches the footing of the valley. Because of this, it is mostly dark in the Myre, both in the morning and in the night.
