Ser Maron Blackgard is an unseen character in Game of Thrones. He is long deceased by the time the series begins and is not expected to appear, but he is mentioned in the Season 5 episode "The House of Black and White". He was a knight of House Blackgard and was Marinah Blackgard's twin brother. After fighting with distinction in the Conquest of Dorne, he was named to the Kingsguard and would become the Kingsguard's longest-serving member in history, eventually rising to become Lord Commander.
