""The Faceless King". Where did he come up with a stupid name like that?"
―Kilmer mocking King Althurin.

Kilmer is a minor character in the eighth season. He is a Ashlands peasant who lives in the city of Blackgard and is a friend of Lemmord.

Season 8[]

Kilmer is sitting in a tavern drinking yolskein with his friend Lemmord and several other peasants all insulting the Black King of Ebonheart, Althurin. Kilmer calls one of Althurin's nicknames, "The Faceless King", "stupid", and encourages Lemmord to start singing the song "The King of Kings", which mocks Althurin. Unbeknownst to them, Althurin decided to visit that same tavern and overheard them singing it, and was so infuriated that he had the entire group of peasants, including Lemmord and Kilmer, thrown into the Pit.

Trivia[]

  • Kilmer is portrayed by Phil Campbell, who had formerly been the guitarist for the English heavy metal band Motörhead. The song he encourages Lemmord to sing, "The King of Kings", is a comedic re-working of the real-life Motörhead song of the same name. The name "Kilmer" is another tribute to Motörhead, as it is a reference to the surname of the band's late frontman, Lemmy Kilmister (much like the name of Mikkey Dee's character, Lemmord, is also a reference to Lemmy.)
