Game of Thrones Fanon Wiki

A wiki where users can create their own Game of Thrones related stories, characters, locations, cultures, and so forth. Please help contributing by creating and adding your own pages!

The Game of Thrones Fanon Wiki follows a set of guidelines which every user, be he/she anonymous or a registered contributor, must follow. Keep in mind, that we are a Fanfiction wiki, not an actual informative or factual wiki based on A Song of Ice and Fire and/or Game of Thrones. The Community Guidelines are the following:

The Guidelines

Jump right in! Don't be afraid to get started. Anyone is free to edit here, so simply click edit and get started!

Be respectful. Every user here creates what they want. Do not be harsh and discourage that person's work. Furthermore, any sexual, racial, or personal harassment is strictly forbidden. Any harassment, regardless of its kind or nature, results in a permanent ban without a warning.

Help is everywhere. Are you stuck with a story? Any creative setbacks? Do not hesitate to contact an administrator! You can ask whatever you want, they'll always be there to answer your call.

Don't use the wiki to spam your own links. Wikis are a great place to build content on a specific topic, not a place to spam links to your latest product or to post non-relevant material. Spam will be removed, so please don't add it to begin with. When a user is caught spamming, they'll be given a temporary ban and a formal warning.

Permissions and Properties. Every article here belongs to one user or another. If you want to edit or collaborate with a user and edit their respective pages, you must always ask permission first. When you edit one's page without permission, you'll only get a friendly warning. Edit a second time, you get a second warning. Editing a third time results in a temporary ban with the duration being up to the administrator's discretion based on the amounts of content that were changed/altered. When the ban has expired and you continue editing on people's articles without consent, you will be banned permanently. To mark your pages as your property, categorise them by adding [[Category:USERNAME]] to your page. Alternatively, you can add the {{Template:Author}} or {{Template:Property}} templates to your page.

Abide by Wikia's Terms of Use. This site is still in the ownership of Wikia, Inc. That means that all users, anonymous or registered, must abide by Wikia's Terms of Use.

Practice open-mindedness & assume good faith. Since sites are open to edit by anyone, users of all skill levels and opinions are welcome to participate. We assume that most people who work on a wiki are trying to help it, not hurt it. If this weren't true, a project would be doomed from the beginning. If you think there is a problem, it's best to ask the user about the issue first, then take any additional steps if need be.

Spread the word! A community is only as strong as all of its members. The more it has, the stronger (and more successful), it will become. So invite your friends, family, schoolmates, and others who may be interested. Spread the word on Facebook, Twitter, forums, blogs on the same topic, or any place where people who are interested may hang out.

Don't make personal attacks. Don't make it personal, or post personal information. Wikis are meant to be a place to collaborate with others on topics that excite you. Pages meant just as an attack on someone will be removed. This includes content posted in articles and messages to other users. Should one post anything personal, they will be given a formal warning. Should one make a personal attack on someone, the punishment will be the same as any other harassment.

Corrupt/Abusive staff. Do you spot an admin or staff member abusing his/her powers for personal gain, or anything else? CONTACT A BUREAUCRAT. Bureaucrats are special administrators with the power to remove, add, or edit user rights; including those of the wiki's staff. Staff members are chosen very carefully and specifically. However, that doesn't mean that the greatest and most trustworthy of administrators are always the most careful with their powers. Should a bureaucrat abuse his/her's power, contact Wikia immediately.

Please do not spoil Game of Thrones for some members especially book spoilers. Try to keep to a minimum and if you do make sure you use the spoilers templete. Thanks and have fun
