Elen Blackgard née Tarth is Lord Selwyn Tarth's niece. She moved to Blackgard when her father betrothed her to Eddin Blackgard, Lord Trevyr Blackgard's thirdborn son. When Eddin ascended as Lord of Ebonheart, Elen married him, effectively becoming the Lady of Ebonheart. She was killed during the Black Day, orchestrated by Steffon Blackgard.
