The Crownlander Civil War was a period of unrest in the Crownlands region of Westeros, culminating in multiple armed conflicts in the early years of the reign of Daenerys I.

Though the primary conflict itself is generally accepted to have begun around 304AC, the underlying causes were present for far longer, most notably the lack of a unifying authority in The Crownlands during the War of the Five Kings and the years following, the destruction of land during Daenerys I's invasion and the large amount of refugees present in the region following the multiple wars leading to increased tensions and food shortages.

These issues led to multiple Lords, over a few years, attempting to each increase their authority and power within the region, most notably Lord Ardrian Celtigar of Claw Isle (following the defeat of Stannis Baratheon) and Lord Renfred Rykker of Duskendale, both declaring themselves Lord Paramount of the Crownlands.
