King Burton lll Reyne, know as the Ravensalyer, was a great King who doubled his family's territory in the Riverlands and wealth. When he was 24 he raised two fleets from the Crag and Castamere to drive out an Ironborn invasion from the Greyjoys of Pyke.
Three years into his reign he raised an army of 5,000 men and invaded the Riverlands, determined to take lands from House Blackwood, whose King had slighted him. In the Battle of Raven's Lake, Burton killed the two eldest sons of King Blackwood, and at the last battle of the War he killed another three of his sons, leaving King Blackwood with a sickly, bookish Prince.
He was succeed by his young and weak son Jon Reyne, who started one of the worst reigns in the history of House Reyne.
