Andyron Blackgard, also known as The Braveheart, is an unseen character in Game of Thrones. He is deceased when the series begins and has appeared in the Histories & Lore featurette. Andyron was a legendary Lord of Ebonheart and ancestor of House Blackgard. He was a freedom fighter who in the Third Border Wars fought the new royal House Targaryen for an independent Ashlands separated from the Stormlands, with success.
