Aelia is a member of the Zul Joriin and the personal bodyguard of Sofina Blackgard. A Shield-maiden, Aelia was born and raised in Blackgard and voluntarily joined the Blackgard military at the age of sixteen. When the Seventh Border Wars broke out, Aelia was one of the warriors that rescued Ethon from the Pit.
Over time, Ethon and Aelia grew closer and have engaged in a romantic relationship, much to Sofina's dismay.
